When you join Scouts as a volunteer there is some core learning you will be required to do within 5 months of your DBS being submitted. This is known as the Getting Started Modules. These modules are designed to ensure you are safe, any young people are safe, data is safe and you know what tools are available to you to get started within The Scouts.

In addition to Getting Started, there are additional modules you can complete to attain a Wood Badge.

We’re also including some additional content in the Getting Started in Scouting section that we think would be useful to you, however they are recommended, and not required.
